What is an alumnae association?

An alumnae association is a highly impactful group of women who promote lifelong learning and service to others, friendship, and leadership.
As we move from place to place by ourselves or with our families, it’s such a comfort to know that a network of Kappa sisters is right there to welcome us. From finding a new dentist to getting a new roommate, alumnae associations provide ready friends of all ages that will do all they can to help you feel comfortable in your new community.
Kappas of all ages are working in countless fields and can help you in your career, too. Maybe you need help with your resume or a job recommendation. Or perhaps you’d like someone to mentor you as you build your career. Our alumnae networking opportunities extend all the way from our local associations to electronic groups that include women from around the world.
Kappa is for a lifetime.
We are a group of women who share a special bond and who live out the Fraternity’s ideals.
Kappa is more than a social club; it’s a movement and a sisterhood.

What is our mission statement? Kappa Kappa Gamma is an organization of women, which seeks for every member throughout her life bonds of friendship, mutual support, opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and an understanding of and an allegiance to positive ethical principles.
